Boston Boot Company Taps CTP to Help Launch Local Shoe Brand

CTP, the award-winning marketing and communications agency for brands like the Boston Red Sox, Eastern Bank, Red Hat and Microsoft, has been tapped to help launch Boston Boot Company and introduce its line of all-season leather boots for men.

With CTP providing branding, website development, broadcast production and PR, Boston Boot joins the agency’s growing roster of retail clients and a list of respected shoe brands the agency has helped, including New Balance and DC Shoes.

“Boston Boot has an interesting story and we’re excited to help share it in a way that drives sales and fosters a meaningful, lasting relationship with the consumer,” said Fred Conover, CTP founder and president. “We’re proud to be with them at the starting line and look forward to supporting them as they build to become a respected national brand.”

“We’ve found a great partnership with the CTP team, which has helped drive our branding and marketing strategy,” said Joe Prew, co-founder of Boston Boot. “We think Boston Boot has a unique approach to developing quality men’s boots and CTP has done a great job helping us share that story and build a connection with our consumers.”

Combining decades in the shoe industry and entrepreneurial roots, the owners of Boston Boot have set out to make boots in small batches with an attention to quality. With designs inspired by their hometown, the boots are made of high quality Horween leather and an innovative footbed that combines comfort with classic style. Launched via a Kickstarter campaign in November, Boston Boot’s spring line includes the Commonwealth, Newbury and Cambridge boots.

The Kickstarter campaign saw a successful launch, with more than 1,600 backers and nearly $250,000 raised, far exceeding its goal of $25,000. Boots are available at bostonbootco.com for delivery this month.
